Benjamin Prelvukaj and Ben Sinanaj, co-owners of Benjamin Steakhouse and The Sea Fire Grill, have seen their efforts as a hardworking team shine this year. Both of their restaurants have received stellar Zagat ratings and are also featured in Zagat’s New York City’s Top 100 Restaurants. The Sea Fire Grill ranked #12 and Benjamin Steakhouse came in at #15, succeeding other very well known restaurants in New York City— which, in a city with more than 24,000 restaurants, is something to be very proud of. For the past ten years Prelvukaj and Sinanaj have worked together as co-owners of two successful steakhouses, Benjamin Steakhouse in Midtown Manhattan and Benjamin Steakhouse in White Plains, NY. The duo opened their third restaurant together The Sea Fire Grill, which marked their first foray out of steak and into the world of seafood. The two men are now leaders in the world of surf and turf in NYC and they contribute much of their success to their background as waiters at the world famous Peter Luger Steakhouse. While working together at the famed Brooklyn steak mecca, the duo had a bird's eye view of the inner workings of this massive machine, astutely observing both its successes and its faults. They opened the doors to their Steakhouse in 2006 and while others had failed in the location before, Prelvukaj and Sinanaj buckled down to make their steakhouse dream a reality. Four years later, the White Plains location made its debut, and then in November 2012, The Sea Fire Grill opened to the praises of seafood and steak lovers alike.
