Beresford Ventures is a unique early stage fund. All 7 partners call Florida home. We invest our own funds. There are no assets under management, we charge no carry, and we aren’t open to outside investors other than some friends and family who have invested with us. 

We’re a ledger fund, which means that each of us decides how much to invest in each deal. We don’t make investment decisions for anyone else. 

We’re sector agnostic. And although we’re stage agnostic, most of our investing occurs at the pre-seed stage, given that we write small first checks.

As of 12/31/21, Beresford had invested $7.5 million and backed 135 companies in the US, Canada, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. We’re currently investing through BV IV, Beresford DeepTech, Beresford BioTools and BV Growth. 

We expect that our first fund, Beresford Ventures, will return a MOIC of over 10. And we’re optimistic about our other funds.
