Bergsen Metals is a small- to mid-sized distributor of carbon steel products based in Santa Fe Springs, California, focusing on cold finished materials. It was founded in 1974 by Bob Bergquist and Lou Spitsen and started as a bundle-focused distributor before adopting bundle-breaking to better serve customers. In 1987 the company was acquired by Kiveton Park Holdings LTD, which broadened its capabilities to include saw cutting and additional product lines. After relocating in 2006, Bergsen expanded its offerings to serve the aerospace and commercial industries, and it began offering next-day local deliveries in 2005. The firm emphasizes competitive pricing within a global market and aims to build lasting relationships with its clients.

Operating in the mining industry, Bergsen supplies material to manufacturers and other customers that require reliable delivery and service. Its customer base spans aerospace and other commercial sectors, with a focus on meeting local delivery needs through its expanded service offerings. The business maintains a relatively modest workforce and remains centered in its Santa Fe Springs location in California.
