BERNMOBIL operates as a public transit provider for the city of Bern and its surrounding area, delivering urban mobility through a dense network. As an independent public-law entity wholly owned by the City of Bern since 1998, it runs five tram lines, three trolley lines, and nineteen bus lines, serving more than 100 million passengers each year.
