The Berrien County Historical Association is a 501c3 dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of Berrien County, Michigan.  We strive to connect audiences through programs, events, and exhibits to the stories of our community's past.

The BCHA operates the History Center at Courthouse Square, a 1.6 acre property located in Berrien Springs, Michigan.  It is home to the 1830 Murdoch Log Cabin, the oldest two-story log cabin in the state, and the 1839 County Courthouse, the oldest of its kind in Michigan.  Three additional properties are located on the grounds and as a unit they are part of the National Register of Historic Places.
