Berry Van Lines was founded in 1930 in Easton, MD as a moving company and hauler of coal and chickens. In the 1940's "Pop" Berry bought property in Dover, DE and built a warehouse and office to service the military base that became know as Dover Air Force Base. Eventually, Berry expanded and to service the complete Delmarva peninsula and then the Mid-Atlantic area and the continental USA as an agent, first for Global then Bekins Van Lines. Today, Berry is one of the stock owning agents of Bekins and continues to follow the philosophy of both "Pop" Berry and his son, Lee and that's, provide quality service at affordable prices.
