Bertrand Chaffee Hospital provides essential health care services for residents in southern Erie, northern Cattaraugus and Wyoming counties. 
For more than 70 years, we have provided quality medical services to a rural population. We established a Primary Care Center in 2010 in response to community demand, a Heart Center in 2012 that provides cardiology and vascular diagnoses and treatments, and a Orthopaedic Surgery Center in 2022.
Our outpatient services include a 24/7 Emergency Department, lab, physical therapy/rehabilitation services, imaging (CT, MRI, x-ray, ultrasound, bone density, nuclear medicine and mammography), and ambulatory surgery. We have an inpatient medical floor and a hospitalist program. 
We are connected to the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home, a short-term rehab and long-term nursing facility.
