Bethesda Big Train Baseball is a collegiate summer baseball team based in the Bethesda area of Maryland that competes in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League. Founded in 1998 as the Bethesda Community Base Ball Club, the organization has invested more than $500,000 to upgrade youth baseball and softball facilities, including Cabin John #2, the youth version of Povich Field, and Jackie Robinson Field in Anacostia, home of the Fields of Dreams after-school program. The team has earned CRCBL championships in 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2016–2019, and 2021, and was named the top collegiate summer league in 2011. Recent developments include the organization announcing the 2025 Hitter awards and launching the Capital Accord chorus ahead of games. The organization operates with a relatively small staff within the Maryland sports community.
