We are an award-winning Bristol-based independent retailers and café, specialising in organic, local and ethical food and products. Winner of Best Organic Independent Retailer 2023 (BOOM Awards) and recipient of the Gold Bristol Eating Better Award 2023.

Organic. Local. Ethical. These words are our founding principles. They guide us in our mission to create a better food community for all. 

From humble beginnings packing veg boxes in a kitchen in Bristol’s St. Werburghs, we’ve been serving our local community for over 30 years. Today, you can find us in four locations across the city, employing over 100 people passionate about food, health, the planet and our customers.

We stock some of the best organic, local and ethical brands available. In each of our stores you’ll find everything from fresh produce to store cupboard staples, chilled foods to fresh bread, bodycare and household products, gifts and more. We also have a huge range of food for those with health in mind and for special diets, including vegan or dairy free, gluten free or coeliac.

Each of our stores has a café or deli, where you can pick up hot drinks and warming soups, freshly baked cakes and pastries, and bright salads, juices and smoothies to make you glow. 

Our values are at the core of everything we do, and go beyond just the food on our shelves. We aim to be a positive force in our community—supporting local causes, campaigning about the things we believe in and making each of our stores a thriving hub of activity and events.
