Bevins Motor Company has served the Bluegrass Region for nearly seven decades. The original store, located on the corner of Main and Water Streets, was established in 1946, by my father, William Bevins. The company’s early theme was ‘anyone farming with a team of horses needed a Farmall tractor.’  After a fire destroyed that store in 1959, Dad moved out of town to a new location on US25. This 7,000 sq. foot facility serviced Scott and neighboring counties. We began selling John Deere tractors and equipment in the mid 1980’s, and have never looked back. 
 
This very humble, and meager, beginning in small-town USA has grown into a regional business that is responsible for covering 26 counties. In 2008, we purchased S and W Farm Equipment in Richmond. In 2009, we acquired Keller’s Farm Store in Paris. In 2010, we purchased land on Owingsville Road in Montgomery County. Construction began later that year and we were able to open the modern, full-service facility in early 2011.
 
The growth of Bevins has been extraordinary. This growth dictated the need for a larger facility. Construction of a new store began in Georgetown in the spring of 2014. On January 12th, 2015, 1.4 miles south of the old location, we opened the new 47,000 sq. foot facility on US25. This greatly expanded facility now enables Bevins to service the Central Kentucky area for any residential, commercial, or farming needs.
