Established in 1922, the Bible program is privately funded by charitable donations through Bible in the Schools and is offered as a free gift to students in grades 6-12. No tax dollars are used, and all Bible lessons link to the Tennessee Department of Education's academic standards for Bible. Bible teachers are licensed and certified educators, hired by the school district.
