Bibles For The World (BFTW) is a nonprofit organization based in Colorado Springs that has, since 1971, distributed copies of the Bible, the New Testament, or Scripture portions in native languages at no charge to people with limited access to the Gospel, reaching hundreds of millions of copies in 123 countries. The initiative traces to founders Dr. Rochunga Pudaite and Mawii, with a history rooted in translating the Bible into the Hmar language and expanding that work to global outreach. In northeast India, the organization has established more than 40 Christian schools and operates a Christian college and seminary, Trinity College & Seminary, as well as Sielmat Christian Hospital serving poor communities in Manipur. It also runs Partner Parents, a child sponsorship program providing schooling, uniforms, books and medical care for sponsored children in India. In 2018, BFTW launched a book and a companion daily radio program to help people read through the Bible in a year.
