Big I Oklahoma is a trade association serving Oklahoma’s insurance industry. Founded in 1906 as the Oklahoma Association of Local Fire Insurance Agents, the group is headquartered in Oklahoma City, where a board elected at the annual convention sets policy and a professional staff implements it. Its mission centers on acting in the public interest and advancing the needs of independent agents in education, politics, and business. In May 2025, Big I Oklahoma participated in the EmpowerHER conference, highlighting ongoing engagement in industry events.
