Big R Farm and Home is a family-owned regional retailer that provides products for farm, ranch, and home life. Based in Olney, Illinois, the company operates within a broader distribution network through Mid-States Distributing, a cooperative with hundreds of member stores across the United States and Canada. The business began in 1965 when George Jones opened the original store in Olney, and it later expanded to Mt. Carmel, Robinson, Salem, Highland, and Swansea. In 2022, the operation rebranded from Rural King Supply to Big R Farm and Home and opened a new location in Cookeville, Tennessee. The Jones family continues to own and run the stores, maintaining a locally rooted, family-owned operation.

Its stores cater to customers who manage farms or rural properties, offering a practical mix of goods for agricultural, livestock, and household needs.
