About Us | Who We Are Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring Program (BSLS) is a national nonprofit dedicated to cultivating leadership, purpose, and opportunity for girls and women. We serve students, alumni, and communities through mentorship, leadership development, wellness initiatives, and career-ready programming designed to support growth across every life stage. Founded on the belief that access and accountability change outcomes, BSLS operates across multiple states and university campuses, partnering with educators, corporations, and community leaders to create long-term impact. What We Do BSLS delivers structured, relationship-driven programming that includes: • Two tiers of one-on-one mentorship • Leadership development and skills training • Career readiness and professional exposure • Wellness, mental health, and personal growth initiatives • Community service and civic engagement opportunities Our programs are designed to help young women build confidence, strengthen decision-making, and step into leadership with clarity and integrity. Why We Do It Many young women possess extraordinary potential yet face systemic barriers, limited access, and underinvestment in programs designed for their success. Women-focused organizations continue to receive a disproportionate share of funding, limiting reach and sustainability. BSLS exists to close those gaps by ensuring young women receive consistent guidance, resources, and pathways that support academic success, personal development, and long-term stability. How We Make an Impact Our impact is driven by intentional mentorship, measurable outcomes, and strong partnerships. Through tailored programming and trusted relationships, BSLS supports participants as they: • Strengthen leadership identity • Improve academic and career outcomes • Build self-confidence and resilience • Engage in service and community leadership • Prepare for life beyond the classroom We focus on both immediate needs and long-term impact.
