The Billings Symphony is a regional performing arts organization based in Billings, Montana, operating as the Billings Symphony Orchestra & Chorale, serving roughly 400,000 people across south central Montana and northeastern Wyoming. Its mission emphasizes enhancing quality of life through musical education and intellectual engagement for traditional audiences as well as communities that are geographically isolated, economically challenged, or culturally underserved. Under Music Director Anne Harrigan, the ensemble offers an annual season from September through June, featuring six subscription concerts, two Nutcracker performances with a ballet company, a New Year’s Eve event, and free Family Concerts and Symphony in the Park. 

The organization reaches about 40,000 people each season and operates Explore Music!, a program focused on music education and community engagement across age groups. In 2025, it launched S.O.U.L., Symphony Outreach for Unhoused Lives, an outreach initiative to bring classical music to unhoused individuals. Additionally, the organization occupies a downtown building donated in 2019, with renovations and fundraising supported by a major grant.
