At Billy Blue College of Design, we've been making the right kind of trouble since 1977, when the first of 106 issues of Billy Blue magazine were issued. Ten years later, Billy Blue Creative (which blossomed from the infamous Billy Blue Magazine) decided to open a tiny design school to train creative folk who would eventually contribute to projects in the design studio. A crowd of about four was expected. Sixty-six people enrolled and there was a long waiting list. Fast forward to today, and Billy Blue College of Design has stayed true to the ethos of delivering innovative design education - relevant design learning for designers, by designers. With a multidisciplinary mix of industry-recognised degrees and postgraduate qualifications, Billy Blue encourages entrepreneurial outcomes and seeks to provide the next leaders across four campuses in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.
