BIO-OPTIONS is a physician owned and operated provider of human biospecimens for research. We design prospective specimen collection protocols that conform precisely to the requirements of our clients' research studies.  We also maintain large in-house libraries of banked biospecimens, including FFPE tissue blocks, frozen tissue and blood, and other biological materials.  Associated clinical data is provided, including the status of biomarkers known to be important at the time of collection.  In addition we can test banked specimens retrospectively for newly discovered biomarkers, thus greatly increasing the number of specimens available for some research studies.
 
We understand the needs of research scientists as well as those of surgeons and other clinical specimen providers. We ensure that proper protocols are followed, consents are obtained, and that samples are annotated comprehensively.
