Bird Dog Traffic Control serves the North Carolina community to provide traffic control flagman, standard roadway closures incidental to flagging. Bird Dog Traffic Control opened their their doors in September of 2006. With safety as their ultimate goal, they required all employees to undergo the NC State ITRE program, even though this was not a state requirement through the North Carolina Department of Transportation at the time. 

Bird Dog Traffic Control was the first flagging company to enforce and require the program certification before allowing our employees to enter the roadway. These program requirements ensured our company provided the highest level of safety for our clients and quickly allowed us to become a strong force in the area. 

In 2008, our clients requested us to provide other safety services such as multi-lane closures and rolling roadblocks. Our customers allowed us to grow into a full service traffic control company through their loyalty to our services, considering all of our customers have been with our company since our first year in business. After fifteen years in business, we have created a company founded on a culture of solid relationships with our clients through ongoing communication, intense program training, and high quality services and employees. We are immensely proud of our stellar safety record that has zero fatalities and only one serious injury in fifteen years in business.
