The Boutique & Luxury Lodging Association (BLLA) is a trade association in the hospitality sector that represents independent boutique and lifestyle hotels, as well as small brands and boutique businesses. Founded in 2009, it functions as a collective voice for a fragmented market and aims to improve the economic prospects of independent operators by helping them compete with larger brands and chains. The group describes its members as spanning the world, and it is based in Bell Canyon, California. Through its work, BLLA seeks to support owners and managers of distinctive lodging properties in navigating industry challenges and opportunities. In March 2026, BLLA announced a partnership with Convene Conference Centers, signaling expanded collaboration beyond traditional hotel settings. The association also organizes industry gatherings and conferences, including the Boutique Hotel Investment Conference, which brings together stakeholders in the independent lodging sector.
