In our 80-year company history, BLOCK has expanded under CEO Wolfgang Reichelt to become one of the world's leading manufacturers of transformers, power supplies, electronic circuit breakers, reactors and EMI filters. With 1,200 employees, we are characterized above all by our global growth course - with 38 locations worldwide and four production sites in Germany, the USA and China.

Whether mechanical engineering, drive technology, railroad technology or regenerative energies – our products and solutions ensure the perfect voltage for systems and plants in all areas of business and industry. From the development center with more than 60 engineers and specialists to production, quality assurance and certification – all BLOCK products are developed and manufactured in-house and tested in our own EMC lab. 

Advanced research is especially important for us, because there is a keen transfer of knowledge at the intersection of basic and applied research. Through international cooperation with numerous colleges and universities, theoretical findings are transformed into practical knowledge – and thus become a real advantage in the competition for innovations.

Eleven apprenticeships, four dual courses of study, further training to become a technician, business administrator, master's degree or doctorate – we offer a wide variety of career paths depending on your skills and ideas.
