Bobcat of Jacksonville began in September 2009 amidst the recession. Brothers Michael and Tim Stokes, Northeast Florida natives, had a vision for what the world leading Bobcat brand could be in their community. They combined their construction , farming and equipment dealership experience to build a world class dealership to serve their friends and neighbors. With the success of the Bobcat , more opportunities became available, and in 2013 Doosan and Bandit Chippers were added to the lineup. Doosan was a natural fit being the parent company of Bobcat and a world leader in the heavy equipment market, They quickly realized with the success of the dealership that a bigger facility was needed. So in 2014 they moved to their new facility on the west side of Jacksonville. They new facility opened its doors in May 2017 and the expansion to handle customers needs was now complete with a much larger parts, service, rental and sales area. Even with the growth they were able to maintain the family atmosphere at Bobcat if Jacksonville. It is the pleasure of everyone at the dealership to serve Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia with a homegrown attitude.
