Bombsheller operates in the retail apparel and fashion space and is based in Seattle, Washington. The company produces clothing on demand, creating each item only after a customer completes the purchase, enabling customization for every order. This model supports individual expression by moving away from mass-produced inventory toward personalized garments.

Its customers are individuals seeking customized clothing, including those with highly specific or niche interests, rather than a broad mass market. The company fits within the apparel industry as a provider of on-demand, customized garments, differentiating itself from traditional production methods. In October 2018, Bombsheller released a collection titled The Wicked + The Divine, illustrating a concrete product collaboration.
