Boone Memorial Health is a nonprofit healthcare company based in Boone County, West Virginia which owns and operates a critical access hospital with a 25-bed inpatient unit, Level IV Trauma Center, and Black Lung Center; two rural health clinics with two expansion locations; and a substance and mental health treatment program. In addition to inpatient, emergency, Black Lung, and primary care services, BMH offers several specialty practices and ancillary services at our locations throughout Boone County.

When Boone Memorial first opened its doors in 1964, our leaders dedicated their energies to the philosophy of “People Helping People.” Our original team of five physicians and 38 employees has expanded to a dedicated team of more than 400 healthcare heroes, and our commitment to community outreach and population health has experienced similar growth. Our Mission is to create an environment in which qualified physicians and other health care personnel can work together to provide high quality, compassionate, accessible, cost-effective health care services, in an atmosphere of love and concern, to the residents of Boone County and the surrounding areas.
