Bostik is about much more than sticking things together. For over a century, we have developed smart solutions that touch and improve people’s daily lives.

After starting life in 1889 as the Boston Blacking Company in Massachusetts USA, the company established business in Australia in 1915. Several products were launched under the Bostik brand as early as the 1940’s, with the business taking on the Bostik company name in the 1960’s.

Arkema, a specialty materials player offering innovative and sustainable solutions, acquired Bostik in 2015, providing access to unique research and development capabilities to help build a world that is safer, more sustainable, and adaptive.

Today, Bostik Australia manufactures and supplies quality sealants and adhesives across the Construction, Consumer, and Industrial markets. Many of our products are made in Australia, including everyone's favourite reusable adhesive - Blu Tack®.
