The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC), founded in 1973, serves as the region's comprehensive resource for survivors of sexual violence in the Greater Boston area and is noted as the oldest and largest in New England. Its mission is to end sexual violence through healing and social change, offering free, confidential support to survivors aged 12 and up, along with their families and friends.
