The Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore is a community-focused organization in the education administration field that provides programs and supports for young people. Based in Muskegon, Michigan, the club opened its doors in 2015, initially at Nelson Elementary School to serve local youth after school and during hours when support is most needed. Its mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive and caring citizens. By the end of its first year, the club started with 30 members and grew to more than 300, with more than 70 youths served daily and over 7,000 meals provided that year. Since then, it has continued to expand and pursue opportunities to serve youth across Muskegon County.
