Founded in 1967, Boys & Girls Clubs operates as a nonprofit serving young people across the Inland Empire, with active locations in Redlands and nearby communities such as Loma Linda, Mentone, Riverside, and San Bernardino. Its programs aim to support academic progress, healthy lifestyles, and positive character and citizenship. Clubs offer a range of activities that reflect the interests of youths and involve adults, peers, and family members to foster self-esteem and potential realization. It provides programs in five core areas: Character and Leadership Development; Health and Life Skills; Education and Career Development; The Arts; and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. Its mission is to inspire and enable all young people—especially those facing disadvantage—to become productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Based in Redlands, the organization positions itself as a regional nonprofit focused on youth development through diverse, developmentally informed activities. Recent development: In September 2025, the Redlands club announced its annual Day for Kids event to be held on September 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Redlands clubhouse located at 1251 Clay Street.
