Brandi Koch Nutrition, led by Brandi Koch wants to help you improve your life through learning to listen to your body and becoming an intuitive eater. Mrs. Koch is not only an experienced dietitian, but also holds a degree in clinical mental health counseling because changing your eating involves changing not only your behaviors but also your mindset. She has a passion for working with families who feel lost in the vortex that eating disorders introduce to their lives empowering them to work as team as recovery occurs. Brandi's nutrition philosophy includes eliminating "good food/bad food" rules, increasing variety of food choices, creating flexibility with food, challenging distorted food beliefs, and creating individualized meal plans for each person. Brandi will continue to set goals with you each session including developing a healthy relationship with food and moving from making eating mechanical towards intuitive. I have extensive experience with the spectrum of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, eating disorder not otherwise specified, as well as post gastric bypass surgery individuals and post lap band surgery individuals.
