Brasstown Beef is the premier Southeastern purveyor of all natural, antibiotic and hormone-free pastured beef.  We're a Step 4 GAP certified farm located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of Brasstown, NC just 6 miles from the North Georgia border and about 20 miles from Tennessee.  We're also the sole producer of FreeChoice™ beef within the region. Our cattle are always on grass.

As quite possibly the only family farm operation in the U.S. to do so, we not only grow our beef, but also maintain a seedstock breeding operation on the farm using Black Angus and Braunvieh, an ancient breed of Swiss origin.  We've won a number of "Seedstock Producer of the Year" awards from organizations like the Georgia Cattlmen's Association, and our bulls compete at the highest level in shows across the nation. We sell our bulls to other farmers to improve their herd genetics, and provide a buy-back program to purchase the offspring of our bulls to grow out on our farm for Brasstown Beef. 

We grow all of our feed and forage right here in Brasstown, North Carolina, USA.  Our Appalachian climate provides ample rain for lush native grasses and our non-GMO corn and soybean crops.  In addition to the hay we bail for the winter, our pasture-raised cattle are fed nutrient-rich corn silage (an approved American Grassfed Association forage) and a specially designed supplement of kelp, cinnamon, and minerals.
