BRD - Groupe Societe Generale is a Romanian bank with a history spanning nearly a century, tracing its origins to 1923 as the National Company for Industrial Credit and evolving into a universal bank in 1990. It is the third-largest bank in Romania by assets and holds a notable position in market capitalization on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
