The Bread of Life, Inc. was founded in 1992 by Pastors Rudy and Juanita Rasmus with a simple mission to provide nutritional support to men and women experiencing homelessness in the downtown Houston area. Nearly 30 years later, Bread of Life, Inc. remains focused on supporting underserved communities in overcoming barriers to improve their quality of life. We fulfill our mission through our program areas: homeless outreach, hunger relief, health outcomes, disaster relief and our community radio station KMAZ 102.5fm.
