Working together on C-Level searches for the last ten years, we (Struan and Cathy) decided in the spring of 2016 to cleave our firm (previously called Bodhi Tree) from The Lancer Group. We thought we should mark the occasion by renaming our firm, and settled on Breitlane, which means "wide street" in German. Since we've both lived in Los Angeles and New York at different points in our lives the concept of wide streets with free flowing traffic appealed to us! It also seems to appeal to our clients, who all yearn for a clear unencumbered path to growth.
