Dr. Walter Brenart started the footprint for Brenart Eye Clinic in Chicago in 1960. His son, Dr. Robert Brenart, expanded on that principle in 1978 when he opened a one-doctor eye clinic in his Yorkville home. Here Dr. Robert Brenart was able to bring a full-scope eye practice into the community. Dr. Robert Brenart’s children, Dr. Nicole Zangler and Dr. Rob Brenart, followed in the footsteps of their father and grandfather by becoming optometrists themselves. Drawn by their father’s sense of community and dedication to serving patients’ needs they joined Dr. Robert Brenart at the family-owned clinic. Over nearly 4 decades in Yorkville, Brenart Eye Clinic has expanded into a team of 11 doctors and 60 staff with the latest technology in eye care. Over the years, we have helped tens of thousands of patients see and feel better with services that include vision eye exams, contact lenses, medical eye health exams, pediatric services, and cataract and retinal surgery.
