The Bresee Foundation is a mid-sized nonprofit community center based in central Los Angeles, California. It provides after-school programs and family services in a safe, nurturing environment for low-income youth, adults, and families. The organization aims to help young people pursue education, reach their potential, and contribute to their communities, with the goal of developing character-driven, creative leaders who can transform their neighborhoods. It serves around 3,000 individuals annually, reflecting its reach within the local community.

In 2025, the foundation partnered with Young Storytellers to launch an intergenerational storytelling pilot that brings together young adults and seniors through its Monarca Program. This collaboration demonstrates an effort to broaden programming through partnerships that support education, mentorship, and storytelling within a community-centered framework.
