Bridger Logistics, LLC operated as an integrated midstream company in the oil and gas sector, owning, leasing, and managing a broad asset base. The portfolio included more than 1,400 crude-by-rail assets, 27 crude oil terminals and truck stations, two crude oil pipelines, more than 600 truck transportation assets, a dozen saltwater disposal facilities, and several crude maritime assets. In 2014, Bridger ranked among the largest marketers of crude oil in the continental United States. The company was headquartered in the Dallas area, with operations centered in Plano, Texas. Founded by James Ballengee, Bridger later became part of Ferrellgas Partners' midstream division following an acquisition in 2015. By 2018, Ferrellgas Partners sold Bridger assets and business segments to various buyers, including Pilot Flying J and the Granite Peak Group, and the Bridger entity was wound down.
