Brigham Royalties is a privately held mineral acquisition company focused on acquiring oil and gas mineral rights in unconventional, liquids rich shale plays throughout the United States – including the Delaware and Midland Basins in Texas, the SCOOP and STACK plays in Oklahoma, the DJ Basin in Colorado and Wyoming, as well as the Bakken and Three Forks plays in North Dakota. 

Brigham Royalties was formed in 2023 by Bud Brigham, former CEO and Chairman of Brigham Exploration Company and Brigham Resources as well as Executive Chairman of Brigham Minerals, and Rob Roosa, former CEO of Brigham Minerals, Inc. Brigham Royalties is focused on purchasing mineral interests directly from private landowners. 

Brigham Royalties is unlike some mineral acquisition companies in that we employ experienced landmen, geologists, and reservoir engineers that work diligently to model and evaluate your interests in order to quickly provide fair, competitive offers to mineral interest owners.  

Brigham enjoys an exceptional reputation with its landowners whereby we frequently will have multiple purchases over time from the same landowners.  Brigham is a well-funded entity that is capable of typically closing a transaction within 30 days of a signed agreement between Brigham and the selling landowner.
