Welcome to the  Brillantmont International School page, a private day and boarding school in Lausanne, Switzerland, educating the young adults of tomorrow for 140 years. 

Founded in 1882 and still owned by its founding family, Brillantmont has constantly evolved to provide a far-reaching, rigorous education, attuned to the personal development of each student. Fully accredited by NEASC and CIS, it welcomes 100 boarders and 30 day students, who travel from all over the Lake Geneva region, boys and girls alike aged between 13-18.

Brillantmont is one of the only schools in Switzerland to offer courses leading to British IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations (Cambridge International Examinations). American courses (PSAT, SAT, Advanced Placement) also offered. Small class sizes (average 9) and a personalised approach to learning enable students to fulfill their potential and enter excellent universities across the world. Teaching is in English but French is compulsory.

Brillantmont is in the centre of Lausanne and the facilities include a multipurpose hall, with a full size gym, classrooms, projection rooms and a stage and arts performance area, tennis courts and digitally equipped classrooms.

The size of the school creates a unique, family atmosphere and there is a strong sense of community across the international student body, with nationality quotas in place to ensure cultural diversity.

Brillantmont organises a residential, international Summer Course in July and August for boys and girls aged 10-17. French or English classes in the morning are followed by a wide variety of sports classes in the afternoons, weekly field trips, evening activities and a full weekend excursion programme. Minimum stay 2 weeks.
