Britannia Parking was wholly owned by its directors prior to its acquisition by Q-Park in June 2024, a leading car park operator across Europe. Britannia has the credibility of being a member of both The British Parking Association and the industry’s Approved Operators Scheme.

Britannia operates all types of parking including purpose built multi-storey, underground and surface car parks together with temporary sites awaiting development. It owns a number of its sites and is always actively seeking to enlarge its portfolio. The company offers management services to retailers, institutions, local authorities, supermarket operators, hotel groups and leisure operators.

Britannia’s portfolio is based around a number of multi-storey car parks serving large retail developments with such diverse locations as Edinburgh, Birmingham, Milton Keynes and Southend on Sea. The company also operates multi-storey car parks within mixed use retail and leisure schemes in locations such as Bristol, Weymouth and Plymouth.

Britannia manages car parks on behalf supermarket chains such as Waitrose and brewers such as Greene King. In addition to the general supply and management of car parking, the company uses its expertise to provide innovative solutions to specific parking problems within the public and private sector. We provide ‘Park & Ride’ facilities for a number of large employers such as Liverpool Victoria LV=, and several other large financial institutions. In close consultation with local authorities, solutions are also tailored to ensure that environmental concerns are properly addressed.
