The British Film Commission is the national agency charged with maximizing and supporting the production of international feature film and television in the UK. Based in London, England, with offices in the UK and the US, it offers free, tailored production support from development through post-production, including guidance on UK film and television tax reliefs. It also helps identify and source key crew, talent, facilities, and locations for productions. Its client base includes producers, studios, and other industry players seeking to shoot in Britain, helping them navigate incentives and access resources to move projects forward. Operating within the entertainment providers sector, the organization serves as a central support hub to attract international productions and strengthen Britain's screen industry. A recent development is a January 2024 partnership with Betauk to promote Britain's screen tourism alongside related campaigns.
