Broadband TV News is the Industry’s No.1 Information Provider bringing news, analysis and comment on the delivery of digital television, around Europe and the World.

Our constantly updated website centres on Europe’s leading platforms, their business decisions and technology choices. Whether it’s merger talks, regulatory challenges, high definition, over-the-top, streaming or HDR, we’ll bring you the inside track. Beyond Europe we update you on the major developments in the United States and Asia.

Every lunchtime Broadband TV News is delivered direct to your inbox. There is also a weekly email, Central & East Europe, which brings you a concise summary of the last seven days news in that region.

Founded in 2003 by former Cable & Satellite Europe journalists Robert Briel, Julian Clover and Chris Dziadul, Broadband TV News provides readers with a concise summary of what’s happening in cable, satellite, mobile and IPTV for busy decision-makers through a combination of advertising supported and paid for products.

Our fusion of editors brings together three writers that are probably the best known in the sector. They also happen to own the company. Cambridge-based Julian Clover has been on the media beat since 1989; Chris Dziadul is a recognised expert on the Central and East European markets; and Netherlands-based Robert Briel has worked for the Veronica organisation and the content division of UPC. Jörn reports on the latest development in the DACH market, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has worked as a freelance journalist since 1992, specialising in digital media, broadcast technology, convergence and new markets.

The editors are regularly on the road, attending press briefings, conferences and events. Broadband TV News also organises its own events in the form of the Business Briefings that have taken place in a number of European cities.
