Broadstripe LLC is a mid-sized telecommunications provider based in Millersville, Maryland. Its Maryland footprint was acquired in 2012 by Anne Arundel Broadband, LLC (doing business as Broadstripe), with the Maryland system continuing to operate under the Broadstripe name for Anne Arundel County customers. The Maryland operation is to be managed by industry veterans, including John Bjorn, Broadstripe's Executive Vice President of Regional Operations. Separately, Wave Broadband and WOW! completed the purchase of Broadstripe systems in Michigan, Washington, and Oregon, with the transition to the new providers planned over subsequent months. Current Broadstripe customers were reassured that there would be no immediate changes to services, billing, or contact numbers.
