Niche magnetism New Zealand based engineering manufacturer Buckley Systems specializes in precision electromagnets and related components, suggesting a primary opportunity to upsell advanced magnet systems, custom coil design, and high-precision magnetic assemblies to industries requiring tight tolerances.

Global footprint With offices in Auckland and Boston and a small current employee base, there is potential to expand into North American markets through channel partnerships, distributed manufacturing, or contract engineering services to support customer localization and faster delivery.

Low revenue, high potential Recent revenue under one million indicates a growth phase ripe for strategic sales motions around value-added services, sustainable product upgrades, and bundled solutions that add capability without a heavy upfront investment.

Strategic partnerships Historical investments in subsidiary D-Pace Inc. and participation in industry awards like Ingenious at Work suggest openness to collaborations; target partnerships with accelerator programs, research labs, and particle accelerator ecosystems to co-develop or contract-manufacture magnet solutions.

Recognition and events Active engagement in industry events and awards, plus a TradeMe Innovator of the Year accolade for leadership, signals a receptiveness to innovative products and proofs of concept; leverage case studies and pilot programs to shorten procurement cycles for new customers.
