For over a century, Buffalo City Mission has been a pillar of support for the City of Buffalo, dedicated to serving individuals and families through its most challenging times. From the Great Depression to today's economic hardships, we are committed to restoring hope, dignity, and lives. Inspired by the words of Matthew 25:35, 'For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,' Buffalo City Mission addresses the root causes of poverty and homelessness by providing comprehensive services that extend beyond basic needs. We offer a spectrum of care, including rescue resources like food and shelter, and restoration programs such as education, faith-based support, long-term housing, recovery support, and mental health services. By collaborating with over 80 community partners, we maximize our impact and create a network of support for those we serve. Our commitment extends to preventing homelessness through proactive outreach and providing crucial support to low-income individuals and families. We offer sustenance through daily meal service and provide essential goods, clothing, and food, free of charge, through our Agape Shop, strengthening the broader community and reflecting our belief in the inherent worth and dignity of every person.
