Aloha, I’m Kelly Rice! 

I grew up in Southern California and moved to Oahu (the first time) in 2004, after falling in love with Hawaii on many previous vacations. I graduated from UH Manoa in 2008 with a degree in Communication and then headed back to Studio City, CA to continue pursuing an acting career. I worked as a celebrity nanny which was extremely fun and rewarding, however acting fell by the wayside. After six years on the mainland I missed island life, and with nothing holding me back, I felt like it was time to return to Oahu in 2014. 

My appreciation for this majestic island grew into a new, exciting adventure as I started my photography business in 2015. I feel beyond blessed to capture nature’s moments for a living. Nature is my sweet escape, where I feel comforted and at peace. I’m most wide-eyed and alive when I’m lost in the moment: wandering in a lush valley during a hike or surrounded by the soft saltwater of the ocean. The Hawaiian Islands are a magical place and my mission is to share its beauty with the world. Mahalo and enjoy xx
