In May of 1992 I answered a Want Ad in the San Jose Mercury News for an 'Architectural CAD Trainer' and have been a CAD trainer ever since.  Over the years, I have trained on 6 continents, 10 countries and 41 states; my most recent addition being Rhode Island.

Now based in Kentucky, I present onsite or web-based training on Autodesk® AutoCAD®, AutoCAD LT®, and Revit®.  I also train CAP Designer, 20-20 Worksheet, and Visual Impression, all from 20-20 Technologies, Inc.  For my HMI customers, I do Z-Axis training, too.  

My customer base ranges from high profile customers, such as Southwest Airlines, Google, and Aflac where I train their Facility Departments, to small furniture dealerships who use AutoCAD and CAP Designer.  And everything in between, including engineers and architects in an assortment of applications.

As a seminar speaker, I’ve presented at IIDA and ASID conferences and meetings, as well as industry events.  I have a dozen seminars at NeoCon in Chicago, and three seminars at Metrocon in Dallas.  In 2013 I was presented with what I consider a pinnacle award for my profession, the Autodesk University Speaker Award for Hands-on Labs.  Based upon the participant survey, 'Click My Ride: Customizing Autodesk AutoCAD for How You Work', I received the highest marks among all the labs at AU that year, which probably numbered around 300 (there were 700 seminars and labs).

I author all my training workbooks, and will frequently customize the content to the customer.  For additional AutoCAD content, I self-published 'The AutoCAD Workbench, 2nd Edition'.
