CADA, Inc. is a Minnesota-based nonprofit that provides safety and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Its services include shelter, advocacy, supervised parenting time, and therapeutic support, delivered through a coordinated network across eight counties in south-central Minnesota. The organization also conducts community education to address the violence rooted in societal norms and behaviors, such as teen dating violence, battering, rape, child abuse, sexual assault, and trafficking. CADA originated as a grassroots group of women operating from homes and opened its first shelter in Mankato, later moving to a new facility on Stadium Court in 1997. Recent reporting notes a restructuring of its outreach footprint in 2025, with plans to close several offices, including the Blue Earth site.
