The California Pilots Association is a non-profit mutual benefit California Corporation formed in 1949. The mission of our statewide volunteer organization is to preserve, protect and promote California's general aviation community and airports. We have long recognized that the state’s general aviation airports are more than irreplaceable transportation infrastructure assets. They also serve as disaster recovery centers - most recently demonstrated during the annual wild fires across the state, and in the past during the major earthquakes. Airports are also beneficial as regional economic engines, just as the highway system serving the community is. Past studies have confirmed the financial benefits of general aviation airports to their communities. You can help to get the message out by joining us.
