The California State Firefighters' Association (CSFA) is a public-safety membership organization founded in 1922 to advocate for laws that protect the public from fire and to improve working conditions for firefighters. It has grown into a large network with more than 24,000 members, including paid and volunteer firefighters as well as personnel from state and federal firefighting and emergency services. Based in Covina, California, CSFA acts as a coordinating body for California's diverse fire service. In 2023, CSFA launched a CTEX event in partnership with Firehouse magazine. The organization has also pursued collaborations to support firefighter well-being, including a 2020 partnership with Cordico to focus on mental health and wellness.
