The California Walnut Board and Commission proudly represent the interests of over 4,600 dedicated growers and approximately 70 handlers, who produce more than 99% of the U.S. supply of English walnuts and contribute to nearly half of the world’s walnut trade. Our mission is simple: to share the exceptional quality, sustainability and benefits of California-grown walnuts with the world. We support the growth of the walnut industry through innovative research, marketing initiatives and adherence to the highest production standards. We engage and educate consumers about walnuts through TV, print and digital ads, as well as public relations activities and educational programs. Both domestically and in export markets, our marketing activities educate consumers, the trade and health professionals on the benefits of California walnuts.
